Motivation Is Generally More Important
Have you ever wondered why some people are better at something than you are?
I know I have. I watch YouTube videos on a regular basis and many times I have seen people do crazy feats and thought, “I would love to do that”.
As I got older I realised that I could do most of these things. Not because I am wonderfully talented at any of them, but because I had the motivation.
Yes, some people can do these crazy things because they have mere talent, but others have achieved great success through pure motivation.

What this means is…
If you take two people – one with a huge amount of motivation to do something and one who has a lot of talent yet little motivation – then, more than likely, the guy with motivation will be be victorious.
It doesn’t matter how much talent you have. If you are not motivated to go out and use that talent then it means nothing. On the other hand, if you are motivated to learn and willing to put the effort in then, you are much more likely to be successful.
So, when it comes to meeting women, we can apply this concept. If you are naturally good with women but are not motivated to go out and meet women you aren’t going to have much success. I have met people like this. They are fun, charming, intelligent, etc. However they don’t use this to it’s full potential and go through life just ‘bumming around’ so to speak.
On the other hand, if you are motivated to learn and then put what you learn into action then you will have more success. Being motivated allows you to improve your skill-set, and also put those new skills into action, and thus get positive results.
Life is not all fairy-tales and rainbows
You can see here that the quotation says ‘almost’. If someone has talent as well as motivation then they have the recipe for amazing results. It sounds unfair I know, but that is life.
I am one of the ones who doesn’t necessarily have a huge amount of talent but I get by on pure motivation. I have been pretty successful in a few things. I have sometimes gotten a little disheartened, I won’t lie.
For example: I use to play pool when I was younger. I use to be really motivated to practice. However for all the practice I did, I only ever reached what I would consider a ‘decent’ standard. Where as others I played with hardly ever practiced and reached similar levels.
They may not have been much better than me, or even slightly worse, but it’s the fact they hardly ever practised. I had enough success in the end though to justify the practice.
Final Thought
You can have the same when it comes to meeting women. You may not be the most talented person in the world. I know I’m not. However, with the right motivation you can become successful enough with women that will get you laid on a regular basis or have a long term girlfriend.
Make the most of what you have. It may not seem fair but trust me everyone has the potential to be successful enough to be happy if they are motivated to put the effort in.
